My name is Tanya, and today I want to share a story that I’ve kept close to my heart for a long time.

If you look at Babees, you’ll see soft fabrics, playful prints, and clothes designed for the most precious people in your life. You might assume it was started by a mom who knew exactly what her kids needed. But my story is a little different.

I’m not a mom yet. Not because the desire isn’t there, but because my journey to motherhood has been a path marked by medical challenges, long waits, and silent battles. For anyone who has ever stared at a negative test or felt the weight of a dream deferred, you know that this space is filled with a unique kind of love—a love built on hope and anticipation.

That very hope is what birthed Babees.

I realized that I didn’t want to wait for my 'miracle' to start pouring my love for children into the world. I wanted to create something meaningful now. Every design, every stitch, and every print in this shop is infused with the warmth I’ve been saving up for my own future children.

Babees is my way of mothering the world while I wait for my turn.
